LOGISTICS SKILLS REQUIRED

In the work of a logistician, it is important that you work very carefully, while still having a good overview of the entire process from arrival to delivery of the goods. You perform your tasks with the help of the so-called distribution programs, which you should also know how to use, why you need basic knowledge of working on a computer. In order to calculate storage and transportation costs, you should “handle” the numbers well. Since you communicate with drivers and other employees quite often, good communication skills are equally important. You should be able to deal with stress, because it can happen that the delivery does not go as planned, and you need to redirect the transport or call an angry customer. If you work in an international company, you should be able to speak very good English.
